Tre Borden, Producer

Tre Borden is the owner and principal for Tre Borden /Co. a Sacramento-based placemaking consultancy.  He works with artists, developers and civic leaders to enliven spaces and connect audiences with values-based programming. He holds a B.A. from Yale College and an MBA from UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Visit his site and learn more at www.treborden.com.

Jessa Ciel, Curator

Jessa Ciel is a photographer, filmmaker and artist with an M.F.A. in photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a B.A. in Film from Cal State Los Angeles. Ciel’s work has been featured in the Cranbrook Museum in the Detroit Metro area in Michigan, the Crocker Museum in Sacramento, CA, and a number of group shows. She is working on an art project titled, "This American House" that will preview during AMERICA week at BEACON.

Nile Mittow, Project Engineer

Nile Mittow is a Sacramento-based tech wizard and lead engineer at Hacker Lab, a co-working and maker space in Sacramento, CA. Nile has a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Davis. He teaches advanced bootcamps for electronics, coding, and IOT at the Hacker Lab. He recently cofounded a startup, GrowTokyo, which has been accepted into an accelerator program in Japan.

Nikky Mohanna, Property Owner

Nikky Mohanna is a local real estate developer focused on social impact development. She is currently working on several geared towards providing affordable-by-design housing for the workforce and creative class. Nikky graduated from UC Berkeley and the London School of Economics and returned to her hometown of Sacramento after living in England and Iran.

Dan Tran, Project Installation Artist

Dan Tran is an artist trained as an architect, organic farmer and greywater irrigation specialist. He repurposes irrigation tubing and remnant plastics from his greywater projects to make art thats explores the complex connectivity between water, food, community and climate change.

Blake Williams, Social Media Manager

Blake Williams is a business development and digital marketing associate for Sacramento’s Blanket Marketing Group. He develops creative and strategic ideas for businesses, non-profits, celebrities, and athletes in the Sacramento metropolitan area and holds a B.S.in Business Administration - Sports Marketing from CSU Fresno. He manages the social media pages and produces videos for Beacon Sacramento.
